Discover the Power of the Micro:bit class. What is the Micro:bit?
The Pocket-Sized Computer transforming the world.
This tiny device is packed with a range of features that make it incredibly powerful and versatile for all kinds of projects.
Inputs: The Micro:bit comes with buttons, pins, and sensors that can detect various inputs like light, temperature, and motion. These inputs allow you to interact with the Micro and control with it does.
Outputs: With its LED display, speakers, and pins, the Micro:bit can show images, play sounds, and even control other devices. This allows you to create interactive projects that respond to the environment in real-time.
Sensors: The built-in sensors, including an accelerator, compass, and temperature sensors, let you explore how the Micro:bit can sense and react to the world around it. From detecting movement to measuring temperature, the possibilities are endless.
Radio communications: One of the most exciting features of the Micro:bit is its ability to communicate wirelessly with other Micro:bit using radio signals. You can create games, send messages, or build projects that interact with each other from a distance.
With all these features combined, the Micro:bit is not just a cool tool, it's a gateway to endless creativity and innovation. Ready to explore what you can do with it.
If you happen to have a schedule conflict on your regular class day, you can delay the session and continue taking the class at the same time in future weeks. Introduction to Robotics
Children will have the opportunity to observe and interact with a variety of robotic devices, including robots designed for exploration, industrial tasks, and even humanoid robots. They will witness firsthand how these machines operate and learn about their capabilities.
Students will work in pairs or small groups to assemble and program their own mini-robots using simple, user-friendly kits. With guidance from our instructors, children will learn about basic programming concepts and witness their creations come to life.
Engaging challenges and games will be conducted to enhance problem-solving skills and foster healthy competition among participants. These activities will encourage children to think critically and apply their newly acquired knowledge.4
