🤖 Variety Robotics: Themed Programs and Coding ⚙️
We offer a variety of themed programs led by experienced instructors. During the Summer Camp, students can dive into some of the most popular robotics-themed activities. A well-organized class offers a variety of programs with hands-on robotics building and coding. The coding activities help students program their own robots to move and follow commands to show expressions. With this program, students can present their ideas creatively. STEAM-focused robot activities help students learn and engage through a fun and interactive design lab program.
🗓️ Daily Itinerary: Robo-Builders Lab
🌅 Morning Session: The Core Build (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
09:00 AM – 09:30 AM: The "Daily Spark" Intro 💡
- We start with a quick interactive demo. What is a gear? How does a sensor see? We discuss the day’s mission (e.g., "Today we build a smart sweeping robot").
09:30 AM – 11:00 AM: Engineering & Construction 🛠️
- The Main Project: Students spend the bulk of their morning here. Using our unique smart gears, they follow blueprints to build the mechanical structure of their robot.
11:00 AM – 11:45 AM: Coding & Testing 💻
- Once the "body" is built, we give it a "brain." Students use tablets to drag-and-drop code. We run it through the Test Track to see if it works!
11:45 AM – 12:00 PM: The Showcase & Reset 🤖
- Students show off their builds, followed by a quick cleanup to keep the lab organized.
🍱 The Intermission (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
Lunch & Recharge: Supervised social time. We head to the "Battery Station" (our lunch area) to eat and talk shop with friends.
🌇 Afternoon Session: Design & A.I. Lab (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
01:00 PM – 01:30 PM: Design Strategy 🎨
- We introduce the afternoon’s creative challenge. How can we make the robot look better or perform a different task?
01:30 PM – 03:00 PM: The "Arts & Crafts" Integration ✂️
- Students use art supplies and "extra" sensors to customize their robots. This is where the Design Lab comes to life—turning a machine into a character or a smart gadget.
03:00 PM – 03:45 PM: Advanced Coding & A.I. Logic 🧠
- We compare standard block coding with A.I. logic. Students learn how "smart" their robot can truly be through sensor-based reactions.
03:45 PM – 04:00 PM: Wrap-Up & Departure 👋
- Cleanup and parent pick-up for standard campers.
🚀 After-Burner Lab: The Innovation Zone (4:00 PM – 5:30 PM)
04:00 PM – 04:15 PM: Transition & Chill 🥤
A quick break to stretch and have a small snack.
04:15 PM – 05:15 PM: Open Studio / Free-Build 🏗️
Student Choice: This is the most relaxed part of the day. Students can:
- Work on a "Passion Build" (whatever they want to create).
- Engage in Robot Battles or obstacle course races.
- Collaborate on a "Mega-Build" with a partner.
05:15 PM – 05:30 PM: Final Departure
✨ Note on Our Flexible Approach
Please note: Our daily itinerary is a guide, not a fixed rule. We adapt our schedule based on the individual needs and progress of our students. If a group is deeply inspired by a specific build, we may extend our "tinker time." If the energy is high, we might jump into a robot competition early! At Robot-Builders Engineering and Design Lab, we prioritize the student's learning experience and engagement over a strict clock.
